Some mornings I wake up and my creative juices are really flowing and today was one of them! It all started the night before with red nails – it’s such a hot, luscious colour. Stepping into the fast lane I poured myself into this red knit dress. What do you think of the cut-outs along the arms? Australian design dynamo Zimmermann is garnering rave reviews with some amazing perforated clothing. I picked up this black perforated top months ago at the Pre-Loved Clothing Shop in Chelsea for $4! It’s what I call a God-incidence. Getting stuck into the layering, I pulled on this ruffled red and blue striped top and cinched in the waist with my fave metallic belt ($15 bargain!). Black heeled boots would have been perfect but I was going for comfort with my grey microsuede lace-up boots, which incidentally, matched my grey Guess handbag!
Piling on the jewels is so much fun; you should try it! This colourful flower ring was a gift from a friend during her travels to Cambodia. Thanks Karen. xxx
The up-do is in the limelight but my hair is so heavy and thick I had trouble piling it right on top of my head. But boy did my head feel good when I took it out at the end of the day.
