I am woman, hear me roar! My animal instincts took over today with this purrrfect little ensemble.
Top-to-toe animal print is not for the faint-hearted. Several girls at church said they liked my dress – they were surprised to find out it’s actually a wrap top and separate tulip shaped skirt. Even more surprising – I picked up the top in a Chelsea op shop months ago, and found the skirt in the Paynesville op shop over the Christmas holidays! That’s what I call a divine surprise.
Better still, the skirt was brand new, had the Cotton On tag on it and the lady threw it into my bag of goodies for free!
I indulged in some minor shopping therapy yesterday and was delighted to discover Diva had a wall of jewellery slashed to $3. So I picked up a few goodies including this orange cuff (loving the gold hardware), and these triangle earrings.
The other great thing that happened yesterday was my sports bra fell apart (well that wasn’t great) but I hot footed it into Myer and surprise, surprise, they had 40 per cent off Berlei sports bras. What a blessing! Did I mention I prayed about the bra shopping before I left? A good friend happened to be looking in Myer too and found a gorgeous pair of floral jeans for $20; and she looks fabulous in them.
