The average Australian woman is now a size 14. These latest statisics have provided the impetus for retailers and designers to start catering for larger sizes. This pastel lavender top is a case in point. I picked it up from Supre last week for $20 and while my purchase is a triple extra small, they have the same top in every size up to triple extra large. However, there are many high-end designers who refuse to cut cloth beyond a size 12. Large flowing tops and layered numbers can hide a multitude of sins and therefore be very flattering. My generous brother blessed me with a $1000 gift card for my birthday last week (mum got one too!) so we gave them a trial workout. I warmed up with these gorgeous pink jeans ($50 from Cotton On) and then scored these microsuede purple platforms for just $25 in Novo. Once a bargain hunter, always a bargain hunter!
