Spring is such a gorgeous time of year but so far it’s making dressing tricky thanks to the temperamental weather. One minute the sun is shining and we’re peeling off layers; the next it’s cloudy and time to rug up.
After months of hiding out in boots I was keen to bare some leg in an asymmetrical skirt and Converse sneakers today but when the rain set in and the temperature plummeted it was back to the drawing board.
Jeans are always a great option and if you want to jump on the latest trend bandwagon – boyfriend jeans are the way to go. These stone-washed boyfriend jeans from H&M are my go-to pair. For all you serious fashionista’s out there, I have to pause for a moment and let you know that this style will soon be playing second fiddle to flares! I’ve said it before, but flares (think skinny leg style with bell bottoms) are back on the radar and when you see gorgeous supermodel Heidi Klum sporting them, and the latest mags styling models in them, you know you’ll be hunting down your own pair soon!
A light-weight bomber jacket is another great way to breeze through spring. You can layer up underneath or throw a fur on top when it’s cold. Never one to shy away from the shine, this metallic Caroline Morgan bomber was today’s pick over a lace H&M top.
Don’t mind a bit of hand bling! I’m hoping to have a few exciting tales to regale you with soon, but there’s not a lot in production at the moment, so my TV and film work has all but dried up.
Being thankful for what I have right now is keeping me going through this seemingly endless dry patch . . . watching the sun set over the water every night is a blessing that’s not lost on me!
