Hubby whisked me off down the peninsula this morning for a coffee and rummage in one of my favourite op shops. Now that’s what I call great pre-weekend therapy! And wait until you see the fab shoes I found . . . I’ll show you soon.
Daytime dates are rare but we had a bit of time on our hands so grabbed the opportunity. We are coming up to 13 years of marriage and, after a very rocky few months, a spontaneous indulgence was just what we needed. Dates don’t have to break the bank either – last time we packed a picnic and chilled out on the beach on a rug.
Found this Aztec denim Ninie skirt on a $30 sales rack and fell for the colors, pattern and hemline which rises up at the front and drops slightly at the back. Paired it with a satin Ladakh tank and Mimosa denim jacket.
These Verali sandals were $25 and I couldn’t wait to get them into my shoe-drobe!
