I have fabulously long and curly new eyelashes thanks to the girls at Endota Spa in Mornington but unfortunately you can’t see them!
I was a guinea pig for one of the girls who is in training and it took incredible patience from both of us – almost two hours to apply a half-set of eyelashes. They are individually glued onto existing lashes which means if you treat them with care, they can stick around for up to three weeks. Maybe tomorrow I can find a decent photographer to get a close-up of them.
Some very strange things have been happening this week and I think I should start writing a script – it could make an excellent Hollywood blockbuster. I’m not going into details but lets just say the movies embracing the battle between good and evil aren’t far off the mark!
I better pay hubby some attention now – not that he deserves it today! He’s been quite annoying, but after a bit of feisty aggravation we talked our way through the latest drama and kissed and made up. If you can resolve things in front of your kids without yelling and killing each other, it teaches them a lot about conflict resolution! It’s a reminder that you can’t afford to live on your feelings, you have to dig deeper. That core strength has enabled us to survive and thrive (most of the time!) the past two years of torture.
