Australian and international designers are playing with hemlines and I’m loving it. Some of the tricks of the trade include slashing skirts thigh-high, inserting double splits and cutting in groovy angles.
So it was with great delight I found this cobalt blue skirt at the op shop for a few dollars last week.
The angular hemline and black criss-cross pattern caught my eye.
For the second day in a row I got my sparkle on, this time with a black sequinned singlet (another op shop special).
I had an excuse to doll up today – a get-together with the lovely, honest ladies from my connect group at church. We had a beautiful time of sharing; revelling in the fact that God loves us unconditionally and we are the apple of his eye.
Trotted off in these patent black Target heels, and polished off with two-tone Diva drop earrings, flower ring and faux-leather cuff; and cobalt Jimmy Choo-look handbag. This entire outfit, including the heels, cost under $30! And now you’re Looking Good Girls.
