Kicking up my heels today (pun intended) while the boys are at the movies with my mother-in-law!
It’s been movie overload week so it’s definitely time for a screen detox. She’ll take them to McDonald’s for lunch then back to her house for a play, so that gives me a few hours up my sleeve! Just the thought of some quiet time has me quivering with delight in my Jimmy Choo’s – oh wait, I don’t own a pair, I must have been dreaming!
I’ve definitely got a thing going for pink jeans this week. I think I’ll have to drag myself out of jeans and into a dress or skirt tomorrow.
I wanted to show you how a scarf can spice up an outfit. If you’re a Melburnian you’re probably well and truly on top of it! Here I’ve wrapped two scarves together – a fuschia printed number and a metallic silver one.
Costume jewellery is also a brilliant way to make an impact and change the look of an outfit, but if you don’t have a great collection, a scarf is the next best thing.
I’ve also got a thing going for cropped jackets like this grey denim number. They look best on a small waist but with a bit of clever layering, can be equally hot on a more voluptuous body.
I hope you have a super weekend. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
3 steps to keep your vision alive (taken from The Word for Today):
1. Keep your vision before you at all times. “Write the vision and make it plain . . . that he may run who reads it.” Habakkuk 2:2.
2. Make sure the vision is yours, not somebody else’s.
3. Believe in yourself even when others don’t!
