If there’s only one thing you buy this autumn/winter make it the fur vest. It is bang on trend and there is soooo much you can do with it. Fur and feathers are having a BIG fashion moment. With the cooler mornings and warm sunny days upon us, we Melburnians are back into the layering. I paired this jazzy fur vest with Bardot satin gold shorts and a white satin Ladakh top – total cost of about $60. Bargain central!
These $400 cowboy boots were a splurge! Every now and then a girl has just got to do it. They are made in Brazil (home of our favourite Brazillian girl Stefani) and the good news is, they were on sale for half that price! I spotted them last year in the sublime Beaumaris boutique, The Front Room, just days after my husband bought me a $250 pair of killer black boots. He loves boots and short skirts – typical bloke – so it wasn’t too hard to bring him around.
A great handbag is all that’s needed to polish off an outfit and check out this little gem – it cost only $10!!! I was almost boot-scooting up the street (now that’s an embarrassing thought) after finding it in my favourite Chelsea ’boutique’ with the original $60 Sussan pricetag affixed to it. Snakeskin has been having a HUGE fashion moment and the chain handle was an added bonus.
