You may have noticed girls that when I find a great bargain it cannot sit in my wardrobe, I just have to wear it! So when I picked up this brand new, velvet-fur lined, long knit for $5 I had to find a way to wear it to church. Knee-length, multi-textured jackets (think tweed and leather) are huge news in the fashion world at the moment. But international designers’ focus on voluminous jackets has me questioning their motives. Why would you want to put women into gigantic clothes that do absolutely nothing to flatter the female form? It’s one reason I don’t follow fads but wear what I feel good in (most of the time!). Unfortunately my new cream knit is not my colour – white is best on me. However, I saved the day with this red Glassons knit underneath (blue-based colours are my champions). These leather-look Sass & Bide jeans work with everything, particularly my favourite black Wittner boots.
This metallic belt is on-trend and accentuates your waist. You could get creative with a scarf or a big belt, which are coming back in vogue.

I was so wrapped to find this raffia clutch for just $4.
