Metallic legs shine

A pair of silver leggings should come with a warning – beware of the attention these may attract!

If I had a dollar for every look, stare and comment I received today in these metallic numbers I would be ready for a major shopping spree. It’s one of the great joys of embracing fashion that is extravagant and ahead of its time, but it’s not for the faint-hearted.

The comments included comparisons with the moon, ooohs and aaahhhs, ‘I love your pants’, and an older lady stopped me and said I looked stunning and her husband thought so too.

Metallics have been big news on the international catwalks for a while and are spilling into high-end stores with Burberry’s metallic trench (in a range of glamorous colours) fetching around $3000.

I attempted to tone down the look with my dark teal green Hunt No More leather jacket but when my legs caught the sunlight, onlookers were almost blinded!

Indulged in another beautiful picnic with Mum at the beach but this time it was cold and we rugged up in coats, fur and gloves. The massage after lunch at Endota Spa in Mornington was so good I didn’t want it to end but when it did, I just wanted to curl up and go to sleep. It was truly divine!
