As the weekend zips up (pun intended) I’m feeling a mixture of relief and gratitude.
We ended up in emergency at the hospital Friday night after my youngest guy slammed into the corner of his bedside table and punctured a hole in the back of his head. A whole lot of blood spilled out and I basically freaked out. Hubby’s first aid training came to the fore.
Long story short – we waited about two hours before a lovely, experienced doctor closed the gap with two stitches. A big thank you to everyone who prayed for us, we were greatly comforted and Lincoln bounced back incredibly well.
The next day I felt like I’d been hit with a truck, probably from the stress, and I didn’t have the energy to play dress up’s. That’s definitely a first for the year!
But I was back on my A-game today with this futuristic, metallic number.
Sussan navy skirt, Dotti silver peplum top.
I thought this was pretty groovy to wear to church today, despite the weather being so sticky and hot.
Worked out this vintage Christian Dior clutch bag with gold chain handle.
Silver shoes are very much in vogue.
The weekend started badly but ended on a high note with lots of family, friends, swimming in the pool, BBQ’s, al fresco dining, laughter and fun. I hope you all have a fantastic week. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
