Nautical look transcends the fads

With the weather warming up, it was time to dig out this long singlet top dress and test drive the nautical look.

Fashion and the fads that go with it are moving at break-neck speeds, which is why creating your own unique style is empowering and transcends the fads.

I discovered this dress last summer on a $15 sales rack and feel great in it. It looks refreshing and always attracts compliments. I wore it to the skatepark today (where the rascals burnt up some energy!) and was telling another mum how great her bright red jeans looked, and she responded that she had been admiring my outfit!

This is one inexpensive and easy to do fashion fad – just pile on some cuffs, bracelets and bangles, and throw in a ring or two.
