Yesterday I worked on the set of a little TV show you may have heard of . . . Neighbours!
And what an exciting afternoon it was for this wide-eyed fashionista. Funny story – the guy who plays Paul, hang on while I look up his name . . . Stefan Dennis (he’s been a star on the show since the days of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan and I should have remembered his name) he told me he liked my shoes – this was on set and in between takes. Then he came up to me after we wrapped and told me again how much he liked them! Oh, if only he knew how many pairs of shoes I have stashed away in my shoe-drobe! Incidentally, it’s not the red Novo court-shoes I was wearing today.
I was meant to be blending into the background in Charlie’s Bar, which I did for the first scene. However, after a change of outfit for the next scene, I was upgraded to a feature role. It was a great experience and I loved every minute of it.
You know I don’t need an excuse to dress up but today I worked this ladylike peplum Cotton On dress to my ladies group. Paired it with a metallic belt and matching neckpiece then went for an accent of red in shoes and my fave Very Very faux-fur coat. One of the girls thought I resembled a Christmas ornament (green and red are the festive colours). Very cheeky indeed. And now you’re Looking Good Girls.
