Remember I shared with you last week about stretchy $5 skirts at Cotton On? Well I couldn’t resist; I had to go back for this emerald green and black striped skirt. I was keen for a bit of height – heels are great for elongating legs – and I wanted comfort so I pulled on these gorgeous Zara booties. The only trouble is I don’t have a lot of orange in my wardrobe but I wanted to bring the look together, so I went all out in stripes with this orange and beige striped knit. With winter still upon us layering is essential – matching silk camisole and leather jacket were a must! I would strongly recommend spending a bit extra on pantyhose! Despite my bad track record with them – I put holes and ladders in them every time I slip them on – I went for ultra cheap and they quickly became baggy and the texture was very ordinary. Cheap is not always the best option! This is particularly true of handbags – the tan handbag I’m holding was a gift from my bro and it is the most divine soft leather.
Hubby always gets a bit excited over a short, tight skirt and boots!
“And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.” Psalm 39:7.
i was surprised that i didnt mind the mishmashed stripes! gotta be younger gen. I did buy more stripes today myself tho. Great shots darling. LUV those boots
You could try stripes & spots if you’re feeling adventurous! Xxx
