Oh what a day! If only you could see me now while I’m writing this. I’m in my third and favourite outfit of the day – winter PJs! Not exactly glamorous I know, but we can’t be fashionista divas all the time, can we?
Yes I know it’s balmy outside but I’m so worn out I need to feel snug and wrapped up. It’s been a very tropical and temperamental day, befitting really, given the emotional rollercoaster I’ve ridden today.
My little guy graduated from kinder today. His amazing teacher was balling her eyes out when we dropped the kids off and it must have been contagious, because when I came to pick him up there was hardly a dry eye in the kinder.
But there’s a whole lot more going on and I can tell you I’m praying for a miracle. I hope there’s going to be an awesome, inspiring story for you very soon.
So back to the outfits . . . I started out in workout gear and spent over an hour jogging my butt off trying to keep up with my very sporty big boy who happened to be on his bike.
When that was over I did my usual superwoman change, in the back seat of the car, into this very colorful rompersuit. Found it last year at a Target sale; I think it was only $5! And if you’re wondering how I managed without a shower until tonight – deoderant, perfumed body spray, perfumed body moisturiser and a good dose of Lola perfume (by Marc Jacobs) did wonders.
Decorated with blue chandelier earrings and gem bracelet (what do you think of the matching blue nails?) and berry pink Nine West heels. And now you’re Looking Good Girls.
