Have you ever woken up on the wrong side of the bed, or so to speak? I was in the grumpiest mood today and struggled to shake it all day.
You would think Mum picking up the kids and having them for the night would be enough to lift me out of it, but it didn’t. Or the thought of dressing up for a cancer fundraising dinner at a lovely restaurant in Kew would do the trick. Wrong again!
I went for a hard run, and that helped snap me out of it. Then I started thanking my creator for all the blessings in my life . . . the fog cleared some more. Putting on some uplifting Hillsong music set me straight.
The reason I’m telling you this is because I am a very positive, upbeat person and I rarely take such a nosedive. I believe it’s so important to express your feelings but because they can be so fickle, you should not live your life by them.
So with no make-up on, apart from Elizabeth Arden lipstick (hiding behind Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses) and still sweaty from my run, I thought I’d play dress up’s. This is what I would have worn if my boys weren’t off-color!
After a spectacular day at Pt Leo surf beach with a great friend yesterday, the boys now have nasty coughs and colds and I need to remain close in case I get the proverbial call!
Dotti peplum top, Valleygirl skirt, watch & cuff (gifts), rings from Diva.
All dressed up . . . and now you’re Looking Good Girls!
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1.
I think it’s time you spent some of my money and buy some black shoes! Xx
I spent $180 of your money on these! I’ve already got at least 6 black pairs in my stash. Enjoy Barcelona handsome. xxx

Thanks lovely! Sorry to miss it, but had a lovely time at your Grand Final soiree. xxx
