There are so many things to say about this outift that I don’t know where to start! I guess I’ll start from the top, quite literally.
This knitted beanie is the answer to your bad-hair days girls! If your hair is just not happening try a beret, beanie, hat, or wrap it up in a scarf. Hats and beanies are hot, hot, hot right now.
Found these distressed Zara jeans in the city on Saturday during a fun tour with some lovely girls (must say thanks here to my awesome brother who cashed me up at Christmas: I’ve almost spent the lot!). Catching the train in and leaving hubby and the boys home for a whole day of shopping was pure bliss. Mother’s Day came early for me . . . I hope all you amazing mums had a beautiful day and were pampered up to your eyeballs!
My favourite thing about today’s look is the narrow gold Amber Sceats cuff. This jewellery designer is on the up and up, with her jewellery gracing the pages of glossy fashion magazines such as Vogue. The cuff was a massive score – just $2 in a designer garage sale, which we stumbled upon in an obscure city laneway blanketed with graffiti art. And the best bit; money raised was to help homeless and at risk young people.
Here’s a fun little styling trick . . . this gold Versace clutch was originally a perfume gift bag. Who knows, you might have a cute little gift bag just begging to be transformed into a clutch!
I stopped in at the new H&M store in the city and the queue snaking out the door and onto the street was unbelievably long. But to my surprise, it didn’t take long to get inside. The store is massive but slicing my way through all the shoppers was painful! It’s wall-to-wall, mass-produced, acrylic fashion in many of the latest looks – I left empty-handed. But I did score another great pair of jeans in Zara and some very fine goodies at the designer sale. I’ll show you as soon as possible. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
