Hi fashionistas, if you’ve finished your Christmas shopping and have your Christmas Day outfit sorted then I’m jealous!
I’m so far behind I haven’t even started shopping – apart from one major online purchase for one of the boys, which thankfully arrived on the doorstep within two days of ordering it. As for the Christmas outfit, I’ve been too busy styling Santa to even think about it.
I don’t mean the North Pole Santa who spoils our kiddies, I’ve been styling a ‘Hipster Santa’ for Pran Central in Chapel Street – ahhhhh, such memories from my favourite old hang out! I’ll give you a look at my Hipster Santa when the photo shoot is done and I can get my hands on the pics. I was totally in my element sourcing the outfit – seriously, getting paid to go shopping!
Back on the Christmas Day outfit . . . this Bardot patent pencil skirt, silver peplum hem top and matching metallic heels could do the trick. I trotted around Chapel St in it earlier this week and was planning to tweak it a little and wear it out for a leaders Christmas party at Boc Del Sur in Sandringham.
The plan was to swap the tassle bag for this glow-mesh silver clutch and trade the metallic heels in for the black strappy babies but exhausted feet, mind and body dictated the overwhelming need for comfort; so the entire outfit was scrapped and on went the comfy flat boots, black leather pants & long gold studded black top with exposed shoulders.
If you’re having a hectic week and have little time to change for a festive party or event, consider transforming your daytime outfit with a different pair of shoes or bag, and enlist the help of some killer accessories.
