I’m heading off soon to work on the television series Winners & Losers but before I go, I thought I’d give you a peek at an outfit I styled for church after a minor wardrobe meltdown.
I tried on at least three different outfits and realised my mojo had left the room! This just doesn’t happen to me, ever. Writer’s block, yes, but not a styling blank.
So running late and with absolutely no inspiration in my head at all, I dug out this figure-hugging Cotton On skirt. After all, it ticked a few fashion hot boxes – graphic geometric print, longer length and great colours.
At the moment in fashion you don’t have to be all matchy-matchy, but I zoned in on the yellow in the skirt and pulled it together with a neon yellow singlet; and threw a peplum black lace Valleygirl tank on top. Capped off with a Wish biker jacket, Betts heels and Modapelle backpack.
Found this Wish faux-leather jacket in a Salvation Army store for less than $10!
If you enjoy a good dose of accessorising, and lets face it, who doesn’t, then I suggest you hot-foot it into Lovisa while they have up to 70% off! Scored these gold bracelets and the double ring on Friday ($3 each).
I’ll see you tomorrow with more frugal fashion ideas, but in the meantime, have a prosperous week. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
