Put sequins, bling and snazzy detail in front of me and you know I’m sold!
Well this black outfit embraces all of the above and more. Check out the cute ruffle on the back of this Living Doll skirt. It’s bang on trend with animal print and a leather sheen.
I’ve been dagging around all weekend in shorts and jeans and couldn’t wait to dress up. So I ramped it up with a cotton sequinned singlet and my favourite Wittner heels. We stayed in cabins at Merricks Lodge with some awesome families from our church at a leaders’ retreat. We heard amazing teaching, cemented friendships, and the kids had a ball swimming in the pools and running around with all their buddies.
If you think I stripped off after taking these photos into something a bit more conservative for grocery shopping, you’re wrong! However, I did swap the heels for some more practical neon green leather thongs, complete with silver studs – groovy hardware is a must!
From these . . .
To these!
I painted my fingernails last night with a light turquoise color by Glamazon, so on went the matching bangles. I also had some gorgeous chandelier drop earrings that matched perfectly but instead I mixed it up with this pastel green neckpiece and earrings, a gift from our lovely Brazilian buddy Stef.
Of course when I slipped into the neon green thongs I had to swap the jewels. This Diva cuff was the cost of a latte, and the diamante and neon stone bracelet $3 from the post Christmas Diva sale. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26
