Hi guys, I’m home after a refreshing little getaway on the riviera and I hit the ground running today, literally!
Cleaned the house, threw on a couple of loads of washing and I was in the middle of grocery shopping when my agent asked me to audition for a couple of television commercials! Fortunately, it wasn’t until this afternoon so I managed to squeeze in a 10 kilometre walk and run (half and half) and enjoy a healthy lunch outside with my family before putting on my face (that’s make-up!) and heading off to strut my stuff on camera.
And this is the outfit I put together for the special occasion . . .
The lemon Cotton On shirt is very sheer but you can’t tell in this photo: I popped a lace singlet underneath for better coverage. Sheer clothing is still very much on trend and setting pulses racing on international catwalks.
If you’re wondering what I’m grabbing onto it’s my version of the latest IT bag – the crush bag. Burberry is leading the pack with bags and clutches that crush up as you hold onto them. My black version with silver hardware was a $2 op shop score – I spotted a similar one in a fashion mag for $250.
I love the snakeskin and bamboo (very Gucci!) on these Robert Robert kitten heels.
I’ll have more goss on our little getaway soon, hopefully with photos of our very close encounter with a koala. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. It’s getting warmer . . . and now you’re Looking Good Girls!
“. . . Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ . . . ” Romans 8:37.
Good luck with your audition!
