Yep, it’s another day at the skatepark! But of course the outfit is totally different and so is the skatepark.
I built this little number around silver sandals after being inspired by Mum in her strappy metallic pair yesterday. The pink Forever 21 ruffle top is a winner if you want to hide a belly or waistline that refuses to shrink! I popped it on with my favourite denim shorts – a $10 bargain from last year’s Target post-Christmas sale. The dark denim Sportsgirl jacket wasn’t needed for long as it warmed up quickly this morning.
You can see my boys hooning around in the background on their scooters. These skateparks are a terrific way for them to let off steam, boost their confidence, socialise with other active lads and eventually, tire them out a bit!
I spent most of the day in the flat metallic Roman sandals but slipped on the strappy silver heels for a bit of high wattage shine time.
What do you think of my neon pink toe nails? I used W7, which costs $3 and is fantastic for such a cheap polish. I found a top coat called Mode Cosmetics from a chemist for $2.50 and it’s just as good as it’s far more expensive counterparts. But I must admit, the Napoleon Perdis polish on my fingernails (Ballet Pink) lasts a day or two longer without chipping.
I couldn’t wait to show you this fabulous large clutch. It’s bang on trend with the raffia and metal chain handle and cost $2 from an op shop! And it’s in pristine condition, probably hardly used . . . but that’s about to change.
Threw on a white Guess watch, pure silk bracelet, diamante cuff and hoop earrings, grabbed a picnic and rug, and off we went. Another day . . . another adventure! And now you’re Looking Good Girls.
“Good will come to a man who lends generously and conducts his business fairly. He will never be shaken. The righteous man will be remembered forever.” Psalms 112:5-6.
