A fabulous pair of orange and hot pink heels in Mum’s vast wardrobe inspired today’s outfit!
Then a friend gave me a sneak peak at her loot from a five-minute shopping spree at Sussan yesterday, and I was smitten with the colour overload. In her goody bag was a deliciously bright pink top and an equally gorgeous splash of orange!
It doesn’t take much to get my creative juices flowing when it comes to coordinating clothes. And this was obviously a winning combo as several girls said they loved the colors and asked where I’d purchased the skirt.
After a quick rummage in my burgeoning wardrobe I emerged with this corduroy skirt (an oldie) and hot pink knit. I was so excited about capping off the look with these new Nine West heels, which I happened to pick up on sale last week! Loving that!!
When hunting for new clothes, it’s usually color that draws us to an item, then the fabric and style determine whether we try it on or not.
I picked up the black and white Caroline Morgan fur vest last Autumn on sale for $20 and it’s been getting a good workout ever since.
Cuff: Diva, earrings: Forever New . . . and now you’re Looking Good Girls!
