Do you think it’s possible to buy a $5 bargain and look good in it? Well you be the judge.
My eyes on the street (yeah, ok it’s Mum!) discovered this $5 stretch cotton dress on the discounted table in Jay Jay’s.
The leggings, complete with ankle zips, were also on sale, making this a $10 bargain outfit.
The fit, feel and quality of the dress is fab! If it had a classy label on it and was sold in a boutique in an affluent area the price would be at least $100. I used to be a label snob – and Chapel Street was a favorite shopping destination – but a couple of kids later, it’s all about sales, sales and more sales!
Add a bit of va-va-voom with a snazzy neckpiece and some wrist bling. If you want to look a million bucks, carry an expensive handbag like this Oroton number and pull on a leather jacket or trench coat.
I let my poor little feet have a rest in these booties today but given the option, I’d go for high heeled boots or strappy heels any day!
It took loads of patience to get a half decent photo for this blog as my rascals were running around and thought it a wonderful game to get in the photo. They pulled all sorts of wonderful faces and finally made the cut.
