These photos just saved me from a major fashion faux pas!
I realised this silver knit dress is very sheer – in other words, I could see my underwear through it in some of the pictures. Fortunately, I have a skin-tone slip which I promptly put on under it.
Most of us don’t have time to photograph ourselves before we head out the door but, if you are going out for a special occasion, it may be worth it. I think we can have skewed vision when we see ourselves in the mirror, but photos don’t lie.
This Caroline Morgan dress is a perfect trans-seasonal staple. With a pair of faux-leather leggings underneath, some boots and a wool coat it could take you right through winter.
I’ve paired it with some major Diva earrings, over-sized glitzy rings and a beautiful silk bracelet my generous brother bought me in the Caribbean. Oh the exotic lives some of us lead!
You probably all know by now these Wittner hotties are my favourites. But they’re not practical for running around on an average day so they were shelved; albeit temporarily.
Swapped them for these shiny Target sandals. A girl can never have too much shine!
I need to sit down while I can because this weekend I’ll be doing a lot of standing up and cheering on hubby who is going to work himself over in the Australian Ironman Triathlon. If you think of it, please pray for him and his heart! Have a great weekend. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
“The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth,” Psalms 33:6.
Those Wittner shoes are fabulous.
Thanks Elaine! They were too good to resist.
