I can’t believe I cut this dress off! It’s a lesson to think before you tamper with clothes but it’s not the first time I’ve done it, and it probably won’t be the last. A few years ago it was a maxi but because it’s very form-fitting, it restricted my movements, which I found very annoying. Mostly, I dress according to how I feel. And I love the power of great clothes and shoes to transform how you feel and lift you from drab and dreary to Va-Va-Voom. If you’re feeling flat, try slipping into an outfit you adore and see what happens! The only thing I have to worry about now is sucking the tummy in. I like the prominent seams on this dress but my boys thought I had it on inside-out! Thanks to my bro buying me a snazzy new camera, and Dad’s gift of a tripod, I can now take my own photos. I’ll just have to watch my positions so I don’t look like I have greenery growing out of my head!
The high-definition, inside-out seams appealed to me when I bought this dress.
Occasionally I opt for minimal jewellery, like this elegant Kailis pearl necklace from hubby, the jewel encrusted silver bracelet from my parents, and the Guess white ceramic and diamond encrusted watch from my brother. Do you think I’m too spoilt?
