So tired today, can barely crack a smile! My little fellas must think I’m such a grump but I’m just exhausted.
My youngest woke up at 2am and I was finally drifting back to sleep a couple of hours later when my husband thought he heard an intruder in the house. He grabbed a baseball bat and went on a commando run outside! It was probably a possum jumping on the roof. Let’s just say it’s hard to wind down when the adrenaline starts pumping.
I’m loving the long hot summer that has spilled into Autumn but the lack of air conditioning is starting to grate on us all. My eyes are so bloodshot and my little guy is crying at the drop of a hat. Well, that’s my whinge for the weekend . . . really we are so blessed in so many ways and if I focus on those things I’ll get back to my happy place!
Speaking of happy place . . . I found this Just Jeans floral dress in the new little op shop I keep banging on about. Accessorised with a Kailis pearl necklace, diamante cuff and turquoise diamante Diva ring.
I’ll be in a bikini and in the pool in five minutes but for the quick shopping trip this morning I slipped on some sparkly Midas mules. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
