Do you ever stop long enough to smell the roses? We all get so busy doing but we need to put the brakes on occasionally and leave room for seeing the beauty around us.
Mum and I took a little breather today at a nursery, sharing meaningful conversation, scones with jam and cream and coffee (decaf for us).
After an awesome walk and run this morning, which was fuelled by a lovely bowl of porridge (eaten on the run while I packed school lunches) I opted for top-to-toe leather.
I’ve been banging on about leather for ages now but it’s getting even hotter this season. To break it up a bit I threw on this purple Cotton On peplum top, which I found in The Salvation Army store after my photo shoot yesterday! I flexed my creative muscles by popping it over a blush pink Portmans lace top (which you can see peeking out at the bottom).
After talking to a friend at church who happens to be a colour specialist, I decided to stick to my season which is winter and go for silver with this dramatic neckpiece.
Just reinforcing the message – take time out to smell the roses!
Polished the look with these silver Betts court shoes – found them in the Salvos store for $7 and they are brand new. It’s not like I need another pair of shoes but they were too shiny and groovy to resist. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
I hope you all have an awesome weekend and get a bit of rest between all the fun and games!

You’re a ripper! I think you missed your calling as a stylist! You would have been one of the best. xxx
