Shopping spree ends with Guess bag on sale

The shopping spree is over girls! And it ended with a bang.

I splurged on this white Guess handbag, spending the last of the birthday money my generous bro gave me back in July. What will I do now? I guess (pardon the pun!) I’ll have to get even more creative with my wardrobe.

I love the hardware on the bag, notably the silver chain threaded handles. Of course there was a sale involved – slashing almost $60 off the price.

This outfit drew interesting looks and compliments today. One retailer asked where I bought the gold leggings (Supre $22), another asked about the fur vest ($20 last Autumn from a small shop in Hastings).

I used monochrome to tone down the look with this striped top (old), and black sequinned jacket (op shop $10). The wedges were also a great op shop find.

Hubby loves these leggings – he saw me head off in boring old running gear this morning . . . not very exciting for him.
