I love having things to look forward to and tonight I’m really excited to be catching up with a group of special girls – loyal ladies that I have gone the distance with – from changing our first pooey nappies, to sharing holidays together, laughing and inspiring one another, and barracking for each other’s everything, from children through to careers.
While certain other important people in my life are looking forward to a beachside holiday, and a trip to the Antibes in France and Monaco (some of us can only dream), I’m learning to appreciate the simple pleasures. Like going out for a coffee with hubby this morning, rugging up and power-walking along the beach, and watching my adorable boys pretending to perform on The Voice.
All-white outfits are being embraced by celebrities and in glossy magazines but I’ve been a fan for a while. But I love colour too so it was only fitting to throw on this Ginger & Smart scarf and accessorize with matching goodies.
It really helps to have your jewellery on display so you can quickly pick things to complete your outfit. Within seconds I’d fastened on this Diva cuff and collection of turquoise and blue bracelets.
When hubby told me I looked very cosmopolitan on our coffee date I was thrilled. There’s nothing like nice words to fill up your love tank! I’m feeling so comfortable in this outfit I’m considering wearing it out tonight – then again, I’ll probably get bored with it by tonight and have to indulge my styling bug.
