I have a little confession to make. This geometric print skirt is another newbie!
But before you start cheering me on for throwing the cash around I have to tell you it was a gift from Mum. She can outshop me any day of the week, well almost! After all, she doesn’t have two young boys to drag around with her – she’s a carefree shopping fashionista and frequently comes across great bargains.
Speaking of bargains, what do you think of this vintage fur-lined jacket? I found it during a couple of blissful, child-free hours of rummaging in the op shop while on holiday.
I entered my wardrobe last night with great expectations, and came out with this silver-flecked $10 K-Mart singlet and patent Zu wedges – a perfectly matching outfit for church today. And did I mention the wedges set me back the price of a latte? Gotta love a good op shop.
I’m smitten with the neon yellow/green in this skirt; it gave me a good excuse to pop on some matching fluro jewellery. Painted my fingernails last night with Revlon’s Ocean Breeze, which is perfume scented. The groovy silver neckpiece was another Mum gift.
See I’m proof you don’t need to spend a lot to get a snazzy outfit together. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light – for the fruit of the light results in all goodness, righteousness, and truth – discerning what is pleasing to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:8-10.
