Do you get to Sunday and your tank feels empty? That’s exactly how I felt this morning until I recharged at church.
I felt so stuffed I considered wearing a tracksuit and Ugg boots . . . or was I dreaming? Instead, my faux leather Sass & Bide jeans got a workout, together with this bargain Valleygirl top.
The exhaustion was a build up which started Friday night with our car getting a flat battery at the drive-in. After a jump-start, we got the kids to bed at 11pm – the latest ever for them! Then last night hubby got up at 3.30 am to go on a 220 kilometre Ride Around The Bay, and sleep became a distant memory around here!
That’s my whinge for the week! Actually, today was a blast. Our pastor, Rob Buckingham, was on fire (not literally) and had everyone in stitches. Then Dad took the boys and me out for a very hearty lunch of pizza and pasta. Back to a salad sandwich tomorrow!
I promised my feet flats then ended up in these patent Lipstik pumps!
Picked up these sparkly flats last year at Famous Footwear for $10.
