This entire outfit cost me about $5. I don’t think I can get much cheaper than that!
Lets start with these groovy striped Asos jeans – I found them on sale at a Salvation Army thrift store for $3. In case you didn’t know, op shops regularly have sales too, and if you’re anything like me at collecting clothes, these sales are definitely worth heading to.
The embellished cross boohoo.com tank was on sale for $1 at another op shop. If you want to find great treasures at op shops you need to hit the ones in affluent areas, where the super wealthy ditch the gear they’re bored with. And don’t be afraid to negotiate a better price too, as some op shops are over-priced. If I rock up at the counter with a large handful of clothes (highly probable) I always ask for a great deal – and usually get it!
This Nikka Blossom jacket with asymmetrical hemline was another great find. It’s basically new and bang on-trend with a sheer back.
I found these hot patent Betts heels on sale for $30.00 a few weeks ago, which look just like a Gucci pair. Zu had similar ones for $60.00 but I held off to check out a couple of other shops, which paid off.
You’ll be seeing a lot of this Lovisa ring – a $10 buy and so very different.
Don’t be afraid to give stripes a go. And now you’re Looking Good Girls.
