I caught up with a couple of great buddies I haven’t seen in years today and one of the girls had the most amazing story.
Her brilliant big diamond fell out of her engagement ring recently and she thought it was gone for good. Her husband turned the car and kitchen sink inside out looking for it, but to no avail. They hunted around the nature strip where she thought it might have dropped but it was akin to looking for a needle in a haystack.
A week later, her husband decided to check the nature strip again and incredibly, he found the diamond! How is that for good luck. He bought a lottery ticket that day but his luck had run out.
Funnily enough, I don’t believe in luck. Despite the current load of crap I’m wading through, I believe in a big, loving God who loves each one of us abundantly and uniquely and wants to be intimately involved in our lives, down to the last detail. All those coincidences are what I call ‘Godincidences’.
Thankfully, the sun finally came out today or I would have frozen my butt off! This dress was a gift last Christmas from my fashion forward Mum and is a perfect example of color blocking with its panels of pink, red and black. I love the zip front and the cut-out at the back. Designers have been doing cut-outs for a while and are currently favoring flashing the flesh around the hips and abdomen.
Threw on a colorful dot bangle and favorite raspberry Nine West heels . . . and now you’re Looking Good Girls.
“Before a word is on my tongue, You know all about it, Lord.” Psalms 139:4.
Looking great… 😉
Thanks!
