Stripes are everywhere and while I’m reluctant to do what everyone else is doing I was inspired to don this monochrome zip front skirt. It was a bargain from the factory outlets a few years ago. Cotton On is currently selling striped, stretch skirts for $5: they have short and knee length options. The black Tigerlily zip-up jacket with ruching was a $5 op shop find. It has black and white pin stripes on the cuffs and waistband. And yes you can mix stripes; different colours and widths can work well. You won’t see me in head to toe fluro colours but I couldn’t resist this neon pink Lorna Jane singlet. Obviously, I will have to work out the bra situation for summer! A friend of mine, Nicole, sells these gorgeous singlets and they can be worn for workouts or used to jazz up an outfit. Nic also sells awesome surf clothing – find her at facebook.com/nicolessurfestore. I polished the look with my favourite shiny black ‘skin’ heels and threw on my black leather and fur jacket to keep warm.
A favourite in my shoe collection. I have just seen a photo of supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stepping out in a very similar looking pair!
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19.
Nice body and a beautiful smile to drape the garments on. The quotes in pink ought to be 2 fonts larger than the body of text
Thanks dad 4 your lovely comments. Xxx
