Missed out on a speaking role in a major television commercial today and I thought by now I’d be seeking out the chocolate and ice cream. But I’m not! In fact I’m feeling very much at peace about it all.
After all, I know God’s in control and he will bring something awesome soon. In the meantime I don’t have to worry about going to bed ridiculously early and leaving home at 5.30am. Think I might paint my nails pink and watch a DVD with hubby.
This bargain Jay Jay’s dress was a perfect trans-seasonal throw-on for today. It’s the sort of dress you can take from day to night by switching flats for a pair of killer heels, swapping a handbag for a snazzy clutch, throwing on a blazer, and polishing off with some great accessories.
I promised you a look at our close encounter with a koala on holiday. This furry little friend looked dazed and confused on the deck at my grandparent’s house. Either she was attracted to her reflection in the glass or she thought it was a tree because she started jumping up on it! This intrepid fashionista got to pat her head and back and she was closing her eyes like a relaxed cat, but when she jumped up in the air with those claws, that was my cue to move right back.
My youngest boy Lincoln couldn’t believe his eyes!
This little cutie didn’t seem to mind me giving her a good pat.
My big boy Hudson was very brave and couldn’t resist a quick pat. The cheeky koala scrambled over the side gate, into the paddock and went galloping off in search of a tree. Ah the adventures to be had! And now you’re Looking Good Girls.
“You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am.” Psalm 139:3.
