I have a funny feeling this delicious tangerine colour is going to be in the fashion spotlight for the next spring/summer season.
It keeps popping up on my radar which is usually the first inkling I get, and the confirmation comes by way of a serious bargain. It’s what I call a God-blessing; after all, he’s way ahead of the fashion!
I found these in Target last week when I was looking for pantyhose! And the best news; they scanned in at $4. There’s a good range of summer sandals on sale but you’d better be quick before they sell out. You might remember I picked up a gorgeous pair of patent strappy heels at Target a few weeks ago for only $7 (see below) interestingly, they are the identical colour!
They even match the cover of the latest Marie Claire magazine! Hubby knows I’m as happy as can be ensconced on the couch with the latest fashion mags, and so on Mother’s Day he snuck out to get me the latest Vogue and Marie Claire, capped off with a delicious mocha. Ironically, while he was pampering me with the goodies and cooking us all lunch (unheard of around here) I was tending to our sick child. Lincoln was struck down with a bout of gastro at 2am Saturday, and after two days off school, I’m hoping tomorrow is freedom day!
This Covergirl nailpolish was very fitting for today – it’s called Lav-endure! Any more endurance and I’ll be running a marathon around Australia! A pretty pastel, it’s set to be firmly on the fashion radar.
This gold and silver cuff is a winner and I’ll be wearing it through winter and in summer with the tangerine sandals. The days of choosing either silver or gold are long gone and mixing metals is the look du jour. And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
