From the minute I laid eyes on this embellished skirt I fell in love with it!
It’s ahead of its time and embodies the style and joie de vivre found in many Sass & Bide designs. But it’s not actually from the Aussie designer, it’s Angel Biba and I discovered it on a sales rack in front of a shop jam-packed with gorgeous dresses.
Embellished clothing is hot right now and Prada is leading the way with huge jewels adorning hemlines on pants, and necklines on vests, jackets and tops (see below).
You know I love clothes with interesting details and this cropped satin jacket (below) fitted the bill to perfection. See how the collar can be buttoned up or left relaxed. I’m loving the satin finish and gold hardware – the studs and zips.

The finishing touches to this outfit, which I wore to church today, included a sequinned singlet and pink Nude platform clogs.
These were gifted to me by a friend who happens to have the same size feet as me . . . bonus! She wore them twice and found them too high so I got very lucky indeed!
