I found this fabulously fluffy mini-dress last year. It’s very sheer and short and is best worn with a petticoat.
Not long after I discovered it Chanel came out with something a bit like it. Then Louis Vuitton unleashed those gorgeous feathered broderie anglaise dresses (see Kate Moss below in a stunning Marc Jacobs creation).
And here’s some eye-candy from Chanel . . .
I’m still contemplating whether to wear my fluffy delight to a rollerskating party today! It’s my little guy’s first party with his prep buddies. I’m skilled in heels but I don’t want to end up a pile of fluff and frou-frou on the rink! My son has never roller skated, so I’ll have to hold his hand and guide him around. Wish me luck . . . it could get messy.
I love the open weave neckline and the feathery flowers on this dress. The Diva pearl cuff and necklace complement its sheer elegance. The vintage pearl clutch was the finishing touch.
Nine West heels. Color on toenails – OPI Cajun Shrimp; and fingernails – Glamazon red.
And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
