The most fascinating thing happened to me while I was indulging in a bowl of chocolate ice cream last night! I was really keen to work on an Old El Paso television commercial yesterday but I didn’t get the gig. Incredibly, I found out why.
I say incredibly because normally, you never find out why you weren’t selected. But one of my Facebook friends was! We met recently filming a Rhonda and Ketut AAMI television ad (which hasn’t aired yet) and had an absolute ball together. She is Latin American and could not be more perfect for the commercial. I know that was God-ordained for her, and I know there’s something great around the corner for me.
With only five weeks of winter left I am so looking forward to shedding some layers and dipping my toes into spring. White is being touted as the next BIG thing for spring/summer (let’s be honest, when isn’t it?) and I can’t wait to wear this white lace dress.
I picked up the turquoise earrings at the Lovisa sale yesterday – yes retail therapy was required after all the rejection! For $10 I scored them along with a fabulous ring stack designed by Australian designer Collette Dinnigan (show you tomorrow) and another great ring (you’ll see it soon).
It’s far too cold for this feminine number so I’m wearing these Zara boots today with patterned leggings and a long orange wool knit . . .
And now you’re Looking Good Girls!
